I had to order some 5/8 OD DOM tube for the door hinges. Ebay had some 12" pieces cheaper than a trip to Denver to buy a full stick. I would never have used 12' of it either. So while I am waiting on the pipe to deliver, I built the door frames. I used 3/4" 16GA tubing. Attached are the pictures of the doors frames in process.

Work on the cab has been slow. Finally spent the weekend getting the doors hung. Learned a lesson as I went, the door hinge pins have to be in line or you can't remove the doors. I was lucky and only had to move the bottom hing to back side of the slanting upright. Because I had already built all 4 hinges the same, I had to extend the bottom one 2.25". Now I have to work on building the latch.

I didn't really take many pics as I went but here's the front and back. Still need to build the doors but my broken hub set me back.

Looks like a good start. I like the curved top. I picked up some LED lights similar to yours at tractor supply this weekend. They were on the clearance rack for $20. I used 3/4" 16Ga tubing for my door frames. Tried to keep them light weight so they can be removed easily when it's warm outside.

Great idea on the door frames I'll definitely look into that as well.

Hrspwrranch, Nice job so far. I started making one last year. I then called my local upholstery shop and he had me bring my whole tractor down and made a soft cab for me and changed the design. He used metal tubing, a piece of MDF for the top, and then made a soft cab with large windows around and used zippers. I found the zippers to work very well. What a difference when snowblowing off the 3 pt!
I did take my router to the top and cut out a square just deep enough to house the cover of an electrical box cover and screwed it in. I attach my yellow beacon with magnet to it for visibility at night. In the summer, it comes off very easy and I hang the cover in the basement to keep it from getting fold marks and ruining the glass. Just thought I'd toss that out there in case anyone else is designing one.
Anyone in NH can find him in Salem, NH.
Good luck and stay warm everyone, the snow's still falling.......

I finished the windshield sheet metal, have it painted and dropped off for the glass to be installed. I have removed the entire frame and have it painted. Hope to be able to assemble it back on tractor this weekend. The attached picture is the windshield frame fit to the cab frame.

I looked at the zipper cab option to help this winter but, for me most of this is the enjoyment of the fabrication. Figuring out how to make it sexy is part of my mental health rehab in the garage. We had the snowiest month since 1912 in Colorado. Once it's done you can expect a heat wave.

I am just in the start phase for mine trying to figure out where and how to mount the front to my sc2400. Yanmar I did have a Curtis built one for it but was not happy with the mounting and the flexibility of it, bounced all over creations.

Looks very nice!!!!! The door detail is amazing.

I would like to know more of the square die on the Harbor Freight bender. I have the bender but really want to use it for sq tube too. Thanks.
