JD 3320 need 12 votl supply for a sprayer....

I found the wiring to what would be the rear lights as I have voltage when the light switch is turned on. This is going to work out excellent. Does anyone know what this electrical connector is called ? Does it come in different sizes ? Where would you purchase one ?

Where did you find that connector? Was it under the seat?

Yes the wires (green and black) both capped , male and female connectors. They are under the seat in the back in the center. They are coming out of a larger wire harness and only have current when the light switch is turned on to the headlight/rear work light position. I connected a "2 flat" 12 inch cable to the wires and rapped some electrical tape to hold the 2 flat in place. I will then splice another 2 flat into the electrical wires for the sprayer. This will work perfect for me as my headlight harness is broken right where it goes in behind the instrument panel and I have no plans to repair it and no need for headlights. So I will use the light switch as an on off power switch for the sprayer and my soon to be acquired ATV Fertilizer spreader.

BTW: I ended up purchasing a carry all and then just built a shelf out of wood for the sprayer. I am not a welder. "Final integration" and testing will take place over the next 2 weekends.

I have a 40 gallon Fimco sprayer that came with a 12 volt pump. I found the wire, battery and switch combination cumbersome. I converted to a 6 roller PTO pump and have not looked back. I can control the pump with the PTO lever and clutch. TSC has 6 roller pumps and the PTO adapter already put together. Add about 10 feet of hose and you are good to go.

A little more pricey but that was 3 seasons ago. The 4 roller pump does not put out enough pressure to suit me. The 6 roller works great with pressure to spare. My main use is to kill mosquitoes, never mind the weeds.

I have an open station 3320. I installed a new switch into the right hand panel to control a rear 12V receptical. I then installed the receptical in the back with a 30amp 12V relay in it, ran 8ga power wire from a Yellow top and used the 12V wires from the light switch to close the coil on the relay. This way I have control of when I boom spray right from the right-hand inst panel. This relay is also used for my source for my 12V ROPS lights and there is a seperate switch for fronts and rears for those too. I am guessing much of teh wiring in the Deere is not rated to handle the ADDITIONAL load of a pump. That small gauge wire will not handle 7 amps without the jacketing overheating. Best to use a relay and a seperate power wire in my opinion.
