With an attachment hooked up and in the lifted position it slowly drops and then lifts to the top position. Continually repeating.
Thanks to Joe for the tech. manual, i followed the tests in the tech. manual. The lift cycle test was in specs., so was the rate of drop/stop valve adjustment.

When i performed the Rockshaft Leakage test it dropped farther with the drop/stop valve fully open. Suggesting a leak in rockshaft control valve.

Can these valves be rebuilt? The tech. manual does not show the control valve part diagram.(just the valve assy) Does anyone have access to one they would share or offer any
advice with this issue.

Ive stripped the tractor down enough to remove the rockshaft control valve housing and find nothing out of place or any pieces or parts floating around.

Iam guessing the socket head screws holding the control valve to the housing is a metric allen head screw. Is this a correct assumption on my part.

In other threads I read about a mesh filter in the input feed line to the Rockshaft, however I don't find one in any parts diagram. Where should I find it on this
version of tractor? between the hydraulic feed/source line fitting and rockshaft housing?

Not knowing what you have read, I am guessing the screen that you reference is the suction screen filter. It will be located near the bottom of the hydraulic sump opposite of your suction tube for your hydraulic pump. You can jot remove this without a major loss if fluid—do yourself a huge favor and drain fluid first. Also if equipped replace your spin on hydraulic filter.
Typically it is inside a sorta triangle shape cover.

Older 4300 have a filter inside the rochshaft supply hard line. I believe it is located at the the fitting where the line enters the rockshaft valve.

So it was operation day today.
First I pulled the line feeding the Rockshaft.
Note: missing mess filter.

Then I removed the Rockshaft Control valve. To my own question earlier, on the socket head screws. 6mm hex
Once removed I looked on the back side of the valve and lookie there. My mesh filter was in the valve. first hole to the left of the piston/spring.
Once i tried to remove it and it ripping I decided I would be better off replacing the valve. Given that I did a bit of tear down to get a look at the internals of the valve.
