JD 4400 Thermistor Issue

Hi Everyone, My JD wouldnt start a few weeks ago so I started reading threads and found out about the thermistor. I replaced it and it ran beautifully. For about a week and now its down again. I was driving it and It pretty much sounded like it ran out of fuel. Now its having the same thermistor issue as last time. Cranking but not turning over. I ordered a few more thermistors but they wont be here till tuesday next week. I checked the thermistor that I had installed and it looks fine.

My question is could there be something else burning up or breaking the thermistor? Something that I need to replace when I put in another new thermistor.

Welcome to TBN. The pesky thermistor again. Will do some searching, but others may beat me to a helpful response.

Cranking but not turning over.

Cranking but not running maybe? Just thinking if it cranks, then it is indeed turning over, but only under starter power.

My limited understanding of the thermistor is that it only functions with the fuel solenoid upon startup... and is out of the picture after engine is running. So thinking it may be something else shutting off your fuel.
