JD 5303

Would appreciate you JD owners providing some pricing guidance.

I am looking at a 2004 JD 5303 (2wd) with a 510 loader + QA FE bale spear. It has approx. 600 hrs on the tractor and appears to be in good shape. Looking for guidance on what should be a fair sell price. Current owner is offering for 17.5K. Two JD dealers in the area have told me owner to owner price should be in the $15.5 - 16.0K range. JD dealer is telling me a new 5303 with loader is approx 21.5K. Any suggestions on what a fair price should be for the 2004 JD 5303? Thx.

I paid 18,600 for 5203 and 512 loader, both new, in August of 2005. The asking price seems a little high to me, but then again, good used tractors aren't cheap if you have a tight local market like we do in West Texas.

I paid 13k for my 5103 w/ a 6ft bushhog new...he seems a little on the high side, by at least $1K.

Just bought a new JD 5303 w/ 512 FEL in Indiana for right at 20K in June. Seems as though prices differ, but I saw sales on the internet from a TX dealer that seemed really great. Don't remember the name, but I came across it through a search on Google.
