Congrats Harley,
Newbie here. Signed up here after I stepped up to the plate. My 790 was delivered three weeks ago. Looks like I'm in good company.

Just for your information, when you send a private message, at the bottom of the screen where you type in your message, there is a box you can check that will send you a message when your message is read by whoever you sent it to. It's a nice feature that we all seem to miss or forget about! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Hi from a fellow St Joe resident! I have a 790 from Stephan's that I bought about 2 years ago. I have the SCV but no loader,(my wife glares at me every time I mention it). Does the additional front end weight of the loader stuff (minus the actual assembly) give enough weight to keep the front end on the ground when lifting the rear attachment off the ground?

My personal experience is that the front end loader keeps the tractor front end down solid. I haven't needed to take the loader off to do anything yet. I am amazed at how many things I can do with the loader that I would have had to do by hand. Therefore, I think you should go ahead and get that loader for yours. Good luck. By the way, I need some rain. Can you do anything about that? I am having trouble watering all this property every night.
