Don't know if this has been posted before, but I've learned that JD's tire supplier, Titan Inc., has just moved all of their ops to S. America and/or Mexico.

Now even less of a JD is produced in the states.

That might be why when I ordered a replacement front tire for my 2210 it was NOT a Titan like the OEM.

I'd rather have jap tires myself. At least they don't explode while working in field or on road. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Kubotabling, nice wheels. My Kubota has Titan tires. Yeah, they are not all that great /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. I was reading your post about future JD products. I rarely post down here because it is tiresome to stir up all the Greenhornets /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif. My opinion, the first thing they need to do is to quit out sourcing their product line to Japan and Mexico and Canada and the second thing they need to do is slap some of their dealerships around and educate them on modern consumers. Most of us are not farmers. I now know why so many farmers went broke given the cost of equipment and never a discount given but that is not going to work with most consumers now. I sure hope they turn it around. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif . People like to have the red carpet rolled out for them whether they are buying a fan belt for their mower or a 250,000 dollar combine. The third thing they need is for the dealerships to stock the accesories and equipment for the machines they sell. They will need some kind of low interest floor planning or "inventory on loan" type of arrangment and maybe a few corporate stores to balance things that have every single item. Like a John Deere Wal Mart. J

I take offense to that. We aren't a 3rd world country without labour laws. We lose jobs to Mexico as well.

Yeah lets not forget all the income we loose to those orange lovers ....HE HE He ! Then theres Canada....ooops. I think this is waaay too political but I sure wish they were all made in the USA. No way to win this one so I guess I'll go squeeze a glass of OJ /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i kind of like knowing my machine was made in japan (Yanmar) JD 4100, it looks like I missed the latest recall which dosent pertain to the japanese made models (4050,2210,4100,4115,4110)

I know the JD dealer I work for has every type of bolt, washer, gasket, and so on. JD dealers do stock a lot of parts and accessories but we can't possibly keep tham all in stock as they may sit for a few years or more. Right now I am doing parts inventory and I was checking in all the chain links and came across this one unopened bag with the 4 legged deer on it. Now that's old maybe from the 1950's or 1960's!
