Rogue,

Yes, I was getting the feeling that color baggage was creeping into this thread. And based on other threads I read, I'd say I'm getting a bit of damsel in distress attention, but I'll take the chivilry where I can get it. I'm never afraid to admit when I don't know something, and am happy to go to those who seem to. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif So WHERE are the credentials posted?/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

We don't have any. We're just guessin'./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Joyce, I see you're still "unregistered". Click on the Logon button, then follow the instructions to register and become a member of the group. You can provide as little, or as much, information as you wish. For those who are registered, you can click on their name at the top of the message and that will take you to that person's profile.

Joyce,
I echo all the other posters on the board. Pick the machine you and you alone are most comfortable with because after all you will be the one plucking down the cash and using the tractor. All the big 3 are good tractors, I choose the Kubota, for the following reasons:
1) The HST was much smoother
2) The dealer was good and closest to my home
3) The price was the best.
Bottom line I am very happy with my puchase, 36 hours to date my neighbor bought a JD 955 and my other neighbor bought a NH 25D, all have performed well, at least we keep the neighbor-hood a nice rainbow color. Good luck with your search and future purchase. As for the issue of this site, I work full time and find it quite relaxing to read the post, sort of my deisel therapy without getting on the tractor.
Have fun and keep us all informed on your decision.

Crown.

We have a winner here, Yes, No?

Well Joyce you've got one hot thread going here. That's 63 replies, no wait its 64, in less than three days.
Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems to be the new raining record holder.
There are more total reply threads but none in such a short period.
Way to go Joyce

Rogue,

PRISON!!! I tend to be on the gullible side, but I'm not buying that one. And if I register, then I can scan everyone's bio, looking for all the details on incarcerations and such?

Yeah, ...but the serial-killers are understandably reluctant to tell everything!! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

As far as I know, you can scan everyone's bio ("profile") by clicking on their name whether or not you register. Registering allows you to have a profile with as much or as little info as you like. It also enables you to send private messages to other registered members, enables them to send private messages to you (but only if you permit it), allows you to receive automatic emails of threads (if you want), allows you to post pictures, and some other things. We look at each other's profiles all the time to remind ourselves what equipment the person has, what part of the country they are in, etc. Helps everyone to get to know each other a little.
