JD X485 fuel pump not running

Have you pulled the old pump out of the tank yet?

Be sure to check that plug good, cleaning etc.
For a long time I had fuel pump problems.
It would mow 1hr. 3 hrs and just quit, just like you turned the switch off..
Let it sit for 30min and it would crank right up.
I finally found it was that connector not totally connecting.
I had to use two screwdrivers/pliers up inside the plastic to push the copper blades further inside.
I did not get them but maybe a 1/16" tighter connection, but this did fix the problem.
And I was getting some low voltage readings just as you describe.
