I was out on my tractor today and the temp gauge just pegged to the right (over heating side). The tractor wasn't over heating. So I grounded out the wire going to the sensor and the gauge pegged to the right so I assume that means the gauge is good. Is there a way to check the sensor?

I am having the same issue with my 4310, I took a chance and replaced the temp sensor but temp
gauge still maxed out. I haven't had extra time to trouble shoot the problem but I am thinking it might be defective
resistor. If you fix yours keep us updated. Thanks
