Chipper Jinma chippers

Howdy,

Some of the confusion over whether Jinma makes such and such chipper, or Jinma makes or doesn't make an 8", or a Jinma looks like this but not this...could be caused from multiple machinery companies in China making basically the identical chipper, or at least off of the same basic blue prints. There is no great 'Jinma Chipper Factory' in China that employs hundreds of people turning out an assembly line production of the chipper, or possibly even the Jinma tractor itself, but a handfull of small machinery companies
making them. If you go to

[ scroll down and look at each supplier ]

or do a search for Chinese chippers, and look at the Chinese supplier sites.

Just my 2 cents.....anyway, something to think about.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but all those companies look to be Chinese trading companies... importers & exporters, basically... selling the product rather than all being actual physical manufacturers of the same identical product (i.e., the WC-6). This does not rule out multiple factories... an interesting dilemma for potential buyers here if true... but I'm not sure if this is the "smoking gun" proof.

Some of the listings are exporters, but The Hubei Fotma Machinery Co [for instance] makes an identical chipper as the Jiangusu Yueda Yancheng Tractor Manufacture Co.,Ltd.[that's the former Jiangsu Yueda Yancheng Tractor Factor.] [don't make me type that again]

I came across a list of the machinery companies one day, and some of were listed as having only 11-12 employees. If I can find the link again, I will add it to the stew. Anyway, just something to chew on.

Hi Jerry - Hubei Fotma Machinery Co appears to be just another trading company. I don't see where they make anything. Remember, they are very loose with their English language terms, use of photos and company descriptions. I'm not disagreeing with your contention that there are multiple factories making WC-6 chippers. That's quite possible. I am not smart enough to know one way or the other. I just don't think this is good proof.

As yet another tractor owner interested in these chippers, I'm wondering what is the deeper message here. Suppose there are multiple factories. Should we be looking to buy product from one and not the others? Is there any way to figure out where one comes from... and if it is one of the better or best ones... before ordering? Are some safe & reliable and others not? Any help here would be most appreciated!
