This is very sad news indeed and one I just don't have the words for. I hadn't been here on TBN for awhile and learned of Jim's passing yesterday from the service manager at our NH dealership.

He will be missed.

In this month's TBN newsletter, we will be featuring our first (and hopefully last) In Memoriam, dedicated to Jim.

Although I never met Jim in person, we communicated over the years. The TBN family has lost a member and for me, it's one of the few sad moments I've experienced in the 16+ years running this site.

I just found this thread and was very sad to hear of his passing. I wanted to let everyone know about his generosity in case they missed it in past threads.

After the BP oil spill in the gulf, I won a TBN jacket in a contest on TBN. I decided to auction off the jacket and donate the proceeds to the Audubon Society to help clean up the birds covered in the oil spill.

Teg won the jacket with a bid for $305 and then, out of generosity, Jinman donated a matching amount of $305 to the Audubon Society also. His generosity encouraged TBN to also donate $390 to make the total of donations $1000.

We have all lost a good friend.

We just got back from three weeks on a European cruise. So sad, but on a positive note I will remember him always taking the time to reply or comment on threads. He joined the forum a few years before I did and I remember him from ten plus years ago when I joined tractorbynet. So much respect and wisdom will always have a place in my memories. They are never gone unless you let them fade from your memories.

Oh my gosh I just saw this thread. I've been busy and haven't been on TBN much this year and what a shock to see the thread about this.

I'm so sad to learn of his passing. RIP Jinman. What a nice person. Life sure is too short, what a sad loss. I'm very bummed by this. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

You and me both. Shows like this have limited my t.v. time strictly to football and weather, maybe 3 hours or so a week. T.V just isn't what it used to be. Saw a New Holland tractor the other day working on a pond bank and though of him.
