Went out to get a little seat time today. Tractor started as expected. Went to raise the BB up and and...nothing.
Got off and did some checking. There was a 'tube' with a banjo type fitting going into a block underneath the seat that had a very loose bolt in it. The block all the way down to the ground was covered in what I would call hydraulic fluid. There was also a 18" diameter spill on the ground underneath the tractor.
I am thinking that I lost some of the fluid while working the tractor last Sunday. Would more have run out of this loose fitting?
Also, I am not sure exactly which fitting to pull to refill with what fluid and to what level it needs to be filled to.
Like I have said...I have -0- tractor experience so any help is appreciated.
