John Deere 3005 Stalling problem

I found this site about 3005 stalling. All info was dated back in 2012, etc. But I'm here to say it hasn't gone away.
I have been having that very problem. Yesterday I mowed across my field and back. Stopped for breakfast, went back out, mowed 200' it quit, and so did I. I had it hauled to the dealer ($475), in Sept 2022 for this problem. They changed every fuel thing the tractor had. I believe its a electrical problem.With advice from previous forum members I will check all electrical conections. Will keep you posted

sounds like either a clogged fuel filter, or water in the fuel. I have had that particular problem a number of times. I keep 3 spare filters on hand just for this reason.

What happens when it quits?

Does the engine sputter/cough/slowly die, or is it a quick shut off (like you turned the key off)?

Hey Hoss, mine stalled too.
Checked my water separator, it was a mess, Elected to replace , the upper fuel filter, water separator, and electric fuel pump all at once , I am trying to bleed off the fuel lines but can’t get it to run more than a minute or so before stalling
Do you know the proper sequence to bleeding off all the lines?
I have bled everything down to the 3 injectors, gonna try starting the process again tomorrow including the injectors at top

Welcome to TBN

I'd suggest keep trying, because I think your 3 cyl Yanmar is self bleeding fuel injection system.
My 1998 Deere 4300 is, and yours is not that old.

Or look for another problem, although sounds like fuel related.

How may starts do you think you have tried ??
