Today I took the deck off, after fighting with it for 10 mins, so I could cut off the excess threads on the carraige bolts on the spindles, and actually put it back on with no problems.

Always good to get in a good day with no issues...

Got Firestone Flotations for my birthday, they should be here by Monday, also dismounted my turfs today, gouged the paint all up on the rims, and managed to tip a side panel over whilst waiting for a muffler that is also on its way. Needless to say it got scuffed up. So overall, a pretty crappy afternoon

Picked up a 18in stretch bungee cord today at TSC, for the deck chute so I can avoid catching it on stuff when I mow. And its yellow too!

Miller tire called my aunt today and they are on their way from Ohio. I'm going to get them installed with a machine at my friends car repair shop. Here is a pic of a 332 owned by a farm owner where my friend lives. I couldnt find a tag anywhere. It had a John Deere plate on the engine. Dont know why its sideways.

So, my tires should be here tomorrow, and I may earn enough money within the next few days to get front tires! Put my bungee cord on today, found out its a little too long. So I took the spring off the chute, and tightened the nut after tipping it up, with the hook through the hole. Still dont know why the pictures are coming out sideways!!!!!!!!!! 😠😡

Today I ended up getting out some green paint and touched up all the bad spots(chips, scuffs) and even though it was different paint, it matched 98% to the paint sprayed on!! I also touhed up the rims the other day

hey all, i see its been about 2 months since my last update!! I love the firestones, they really ride nice and leave tracks on dirt and dig in when you turn. lol The 317 is sleeping right now out back in our storage box. At christmas i opened up a set of Vredestien V61 5 rib tires! That will be a project for when i drag it out this spring. I have another topic on here on the 80 cart that came with this new. Restoration is almost complete on that. I have to paint the top rails around it and do the small parts again. Also I am putting in some rustoleum bedliner. Cheap stuff I know, but it'll work for me. I got the tailgate and "80" decals for christmas. I am going to have a local decal guy make me the John Deere and serial number decals. Once its done it will be just like the 317, a worker! So that's it for news on this stuff for right now.
