John Deere 5093E 3 point hitch won't stay in elevated position

When we lift a 3 point hitch implement to the highest position and let go of the lever, the whole implement drops about 6" along with the lift lever moving in the direction to lower the implement. We can then re-raise the implement, but it drops after letting go of the lever.

If it were a hydraulic leak, i wouldn't think that the left lever would not move from the raised position.

Thoughts?

Sounds like loose linkage but that’s a guess.

More likely a friction stop on the handle needs to tighter.
