Price Check John Deere 7230 Premium

Hey guys, I've spotted a 7230 P in the states. Im thinking about my dealer talking the price down and then he will buy it and lease it out to me.

I have not gotten the spec sheet. Yet but I have a spec sheet from a 7330P from the American dealer ship and it looks similar when i look between the both of them.

110PTO HP + 20 Inteligent Power Management
135 Engine HP + 20 HP IPM

540/1000 RPM PTO

AutoTrack Ready


Add 14 front weights.

Probably pulling a disk and my ripper.
Or put the tiller on it.

Sweet lookin' rig - IVT! Gonna put duals on it, too? How big is your tiller?

Talked with a salesman at that dealership a week or so back on a 5075M. No cab; no possible deal there for me.

Probably not duals because it will put too much strain on the engine. 2.5 Meters, Its small but I want to use IVT to grind the harder ground up slowly. :thumbsup: Awesome a 5075M! What tires will you be thinking about? Deluxe or Standard operating system? Well if I use this to tow my disk, there will be no point of using the speed in IVT . I feel like using this to race my neighbors crappy 7330 standard with crappy gear box. :laughing:

Nope, deep down I hate my neighbor When im driving one of my smaller tractors hes driving his 7330 and he always passes me. Makes me want to slash all his tires

What tires will you be thinking about? Deluxe or Standard operating system?

30" bias ply. I want the tractor for haying. Not much ground work, really. 16F/16R PowrReverser. Deluxe cab, air seat and buddy seat.

That's about 8' 1/2', yes? Good sized tiller compared to my 73" Frontier.

Plan to sign the Purchase Order in the morning!

you should check out New Holland's t6050 Elite or t6070elite. more standard features, bigger quiter cab, and the price is better. Down here anyway

i dont like new hollands their ugly and blue. Would not match my choice of needs i dont likd their gearboxes. I will not choose a ugly blue tractor. I rather choose a JD i dont like people like you who tell others to choose a different brand I need your opinion on this tractor not the other tractor your speaking about.

Edward, this guy has to be a nh salesman. If you read his posts, about 98% bash Deere and push nh. I may be wrong. It might be closer to 100%.

I'm serious its why no one drives NH's in my neighborhood. Its mostly Green and a bit of red. Most of the guys who buy red end up changing to green. Go Green or Go Home. :thumbsup: Look how stuck is this tractor that hes recommending
to me.

Thanks Ed for sharing - so your going to lease? too complicated fer me but what I do know its a sweet ride - a 105" wheel base really rides smooth when your passing your neighbor. Those 6 cly turbos ... my oh my... I could not afford to go that route as the ole farm is not quite ready but just love my big ole 3140

What else I do know is ..

I dont want any ugly blue tractor either.:thumbsup:
