Bob,
I am on public water, but actually prefer individual services. After all with public water/sewer one problem can harm or inconvenience thousands. As oposed to the improbability of thousands of wells or septic systems messing up at the same time. If my pump quits I could still go to the neighbors for water.....Still have my cistern, and use it for outside watering. I would use it for all uses if not for the wife, water from the sky is free /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif And I prefer to fertilize my ground rather than having to pay taxes/fees for someone else to dispose of it.
oh well off my soapbox...
Ben
