Hopefully the problem has been found. After talking to the JD rep about our problems, then our service manager after a post by Gator6X4 of the issue of a floating deck.........we (service manager and us) think by having the deck in the float position the pin falling out/breaking issue would be solved. Time will tell.
It looks like the tractor/deck is fixed. We have had no problems since the hydraulic lines were installed in the float circuit
Thanks to all who listened to me rant and rave. Now to change the seat to the suspension design. My wife has had back surgery and has arthritis so this is for her.
Its been over a year since my last post. Finally something to be happy about
Have used the float curcuit to mow with all summer. Have not had any issues with the deck. It was still is there as installed by the dealer until last week. I removed the deck and installed the loader, getting ready for winter snow removal. Have thought about getting the blade. It would be nice to remove snow, push dirt etc.
We had bought more property this spring, now we have over an acre to mow all together now. Takes about 1-1 1/2 hr to mow everything.
Overall the tractor is a nice unit. Plenty of power, mows very nice and handy for a lot of other things.
