I have been meaning to try to spend more time over here w/ this crowd.
You guys got the right stuff & the goods I say!

Feel free to spend all the time you want over here. Chainsaws are FUN:thumbsup:

I have been wantin' a large"r" chainsaw. My Stihl dealer is tryin' to put
me into a MS362-20 , I noticed a note on the quote that said "Flush".
I assume that is a handle, well, lack of a handle on the side

Yes, a flush is just a saw that dont have a handle along the chain/clutch cover side. A "flush" is pretty popular in the easy. Out west though, the full wraps are more popular. But as to the saw, Stihl is good, but I dont own andy and dont plan to. IMO, for the $$$ spent, you can get a better performing and just as reliable saw of a different make. (HINT: look at my sig for what brand you think I am taking about:D)

In all seriousness, if you get ready to get serious about a saw, new or used, PLEASE consult us first. We REALLY LOVE spending other peoples money:laughing:

Hey is there anything wrong w/ carrying my 009 like pictured below?

Nothing wrong with that.

(I Hope I don't hijak the OP's thread w/ my junk ramblin's!

Dont worry about that. It dont matter wether you hijack or start a new thread, just so long as we are talking about saws its all good. And I am sure he (xyz123) will feel the same way. The chainsaw forum on TBN here dont see too much action. But its all good. If you do make a post in this section though, and dont get a response immediately like the other threads, thats just the nature of the beast. Be patient, we will eventually respond.

I started to ask a Q then realized I didn't LOOK first and try to find the answer myself, so I did and ended up finding a nice list for Stihl. An 009L
is a tad bit more powerful than an 009

THE LIST

No problem.

But yea, like I said, they dont list much newer stuff. In fact, they dont list hardly ANY of the newer "3" series huskys, let alone the really new stuff like the "5" series.

But it is an EXCELLENT site for older saws. Say...1995 and older

That's Magnus site from Sweden. Great site for older saw info. If you have older saws please put them in the library there.

Your dolmars need to be in there LD1
