It may sound silly but I am finding electric and cordless chainsaws more appealing as I age. I still get a rush from my Homelite Super EZ AO that I bought new in the 70s. High revving with plenty of power.

I'm looking at the battery powered Echo to carry in the truck. The sawmill owner who turns logs into lumber for me has one and says that's all he uses there.
Instead of bouncing around in the back I can throw it under the back seat, and if there's a tree across the road I can have it moved before the gas saw is even warmed up.
I also know people with electric ice augers who really like them.
A word of caution though; the electric saw have a lot more torque, and safety chaps are less effective. Any tool can be dangerous without care though...

We need better charging ports in our trucks so those saw batteries are always charged and ready along with the flashlights, impact drivers, etc just in case.

Few saws across the bench. They just dont come tuned out of the box ready to go. Was just the L to lean and I not set right again.

The new poulan 50cc now comes with side tensioner and new fuel lines. The all yellow 5020 that came out first had the yellow epa lines that was a total failure. The 4218 had same lines.

Time will tell if these new lines fair better. Hoping owner brings back in after a year or 2.

Digging up some parts for a original owners XL.

Then some 71cc and 54cc

Still hoping to find a spare clutch and drum for my trusty Homelite Super EzAo. These parts are getting harder to find on eBay.

Show me what your wanting.

This guy got lucky I couldnt get someone to take the whole saw. So it was on the shelf to part out for him.

He got the clutch, drum, bearing, air filter was new, on/off switch etc.

Thanks. I will get that info. The last 2 clutches I found, one was correct and the others center hole was to large. Both had the same part number stamped on them. I'll get some photos.
