Maybe GM does. I know ford did not because I looked at F-550’s and Ram 5500’s.
My Duramax did not come with a 5 yr 100K warranty, but that was a 2007.

I think 2016 on there hd trucks was the first year of this with the 6.6 5 yr 100k engine and subsequent drive train components.

Both my 3500HD and Yukon powertrain warranties are for 5 yrs/100,000 miles. Makes the Yukon with the 3.0L Duramax worth a look.

Often can be shopped and bought from another dealer after sale…

How do a few dealerships advertise and get away with boasting about 10yr 1 million mile warranties? I'd hate to see the headache trying to get a claim on that one.

One thing I want to come back is a full sized, properly rated spare tire. Granted flats aren't as common as they once were yet I still have changed more flats in the last 10 years than I've put out fires with a fire extinquisher.

I had a few flats more than fifty years ago when I drove an old car with junk tires. About three or four years ago I had a flat when away from home overnight. I pumped it up with a compressor I keep in each vehicle and drove home. About four years ago, while towing our 5th., I lost a good sized piece of the tread on my truck. I had a good spare and put it on. I now realize that I shouldn't ,have been driving on tires I bought used in 2010 and bought all new ones. That is the only tire I have needed to change while away from home in more than fifty years. I did put out a car fire with an extinguisher years ago. When our compulsory government insurance refused to replace the extinguisher, I quit carrying one. Shows different experiences for different people.

My GMC came with a full size spare. Until I got my first set of new tires 5 or so years ago id throw it in the tire rotation. If you drive where construction is going on you will get a flat. Over the years I've gotten pretty good at hearing and distinguishing that constant tap when I've got a nail in tire when im driving. im also an advocate for plugs and self proclaimed expert nail remover and tire plugger. In fact I bet I can locate, remove a nail, and plug a tire faster than a NASCAR pit crew can change a tire

100K miles is barely broken in and about 4 years of use for me. I have seldom had any mechanical issues on any vehicle until they accrue about 200K miles.
