Camaro driver needs to be in jail.

Pickup driver could have done things differently but he was not the one out of control driving like a maniac. Too many of these DB's think they are in a NASCAR race on the highway. I used to live in Texas and diving is like a race down there. Road rage is a serious problem as many of these people can't control thier emotions and also carry weapons.

Few years ago a friend's wife was driving their Jeep Wrangler with top and doors removed. Passing a semi when a trailer tire blew. ...

I had this happen to me decades ago. I was in a car though with the windows rolled up and had just passed the trailer's rear tires when one of them blew. The rear of my car was just past the tires on the trailer. Maybe a second or two slower and I would have been right next to the tire that popped. Nothing hit the car, but even with the windows rolled up, the sound all but made me need to change my Fruit of the Looms. :shocked::laughing::laughing::laughing: The lady you mentioned should get credit for not jerking the steering wheel after hearing the tire blow. That loud noise that close to your head could easily cause an accident.

had to go to a meeting this morning, and got just north of a small town with an interstate ramp system. and found a tractor trailer sideways in the middle of a 2 lane highway, with the little triangles sitting in the middle of the road. cops showed up, and come to find out the ID 10 T had missed his turn and was trying to do a U turn in the middle of the highway with grass shoulders and had gotten stuck.

My wife and I were driving home 2 weeks ago and got caught in a foggy, snow mix. After about 30 minutes I told her that the state could make $1M in fines for all the cars without lights on. We are retired and usually stay home but delivered our grandson home.

Because of idiots that drive around without lights is why sometimes I think the best thing to do would be when the engine is running the lights just come on. It is hard to believe how stupid so many of our fellow motorists really are. Present company excepted of course..

Then there are the cruise control drivers that refuse to adjust speed to keep things moving , car or truck . They ease out to pass going 1/10 mph faster and hang beside that vehicle for a 100 miles . And neither the passer or passee will adjust to make this a simple transaction . If you have been beside a big rig when it blows a tire you will quit ******* around when you pass one ! There is no good offense just good defense .

I remember passing a semi and just when I got past it a tire blew.... man that scared the bajeebers out of me. Reminded me of my home town at night!

I've never seen a tire blow, but I did see a brake drum on a semi trailer come apart. It bounced off the road and came in through my windshield on the passenger side. It shattered the rear glass in my cab/chassis truck. I had glass everywhere in the cab. I was on my way to pick up a co-worker. He could have been decapitated if he was in there.
