We've made a little more progress. My wife is painting. She's taking it one day at a time and getting better at it every day. I've been doing finish electrical on rooms she's done with.
Now we have to decide on a baseboard trim color. We're going with the rubber baseboard because we have had damp floors in the past in the basement. Our area is notorius for sub water. I had the sheetrock guy leave a 1" gap at the bottom of the floor, and I used pressure treated boards wherever I could for the base plates of the wall framing. Hopefully with the rubber baseboard we'll have no long term ill effects if we get more moisture. The problem is that we only have a few choices in color of the baseboard. We've narrowed it down to the two colors in the attached pictures. One is "Snow" colored, and the other is "Fawn" colored.
I'm taking a poll. Which baseboard color do you like, snow or fawn? Why?
The wall in the pictures is painted the color it will be, and the painted trim (doors/windows) will all be white like the door in the pictures.
