I would, but I'm down on the coast at the moment .. Don't know if my 3110 would be longer or not.. Maybe all 2000's are the same

Thanks for the comments; I suspect its something very simple and I will figure it out soon. Would somebody measure your lift arms and see if they are 31" like mine? Seems unlikely they could have put type 0 arms on it, but if everyone else has 31" arms I'll know for sure that isn't the issue. Its possible these aren't bent properly, but that doesn't seem all that likely either. Maybe they just have to loosen up a little.

Thanks again for the help!

Here are the two different arms Hoye sells for the 2210. Yanmar Tractor Parts Lift arm - 27.5 centers Yanmar Tractor Parts Lift arm - 27.75 centers

31" long or 28" pin to pin on my 2000. With the width of alot of pins on attachments, I've removed and turned all of them so there pointing Inwards. Never had a problem with any of my attachments doing that, But it sure does make it a lot easier to attach a Implement. The only one I haven't had to do that to was my RS1400 Tiller I had. It was the factory Yanmar Tiller for a YM2000.

Carey, that is great info; thanks for taking time to measure. I guess the narrow spread is just a characteristic of the Yanmar. I'm gonna see if the JD arms will fit.

Winston, looks like the offset arms might be made to correct this issue?

I would ask fredericks to correct the stickers if it were me.

Also swap the pins to face inward. I have to do that on a few things. or at least on pin facing inward.

Cary is right. I have turned my pins inward on my little 4ft Jbar bush hog and my razorback bushhog 5ft. when i use the bushhog 6ft finish mower of my uncles i have have to turn the pins in. I think there in on my box blade as well? The boom pole hooks up fine outward. And thats every thing i use on it. I have a YM2000 as well. Even when you get them over the widest point you have to worry about your arms rubbing the tires. I could hook the finish mower up by taking the arm off of the verticlal link adjuster and putting it on the pin then back on the verticle link. but then if the check chains got the slightest bit loose or in turns it would contact the rice tires on the arms. Quick inward swap took care of that problem.

My solution to all this was to buy the Harbor Freight Quick Hitch. I can back up to most of my implements, lift them, and drive away.

The QH adds 60 lbs of ballast as far back as possible which is helpful on the tiny YM186D. Its near instantaneous to install the trailer-ball bar.

And its helpful as the starting point for implements I have built: rear loader forks (1) (2), lifting mechanism upgrade for drag spike harrow. (3) (4) ... version2 (5)

But before buying that QH verify that all your implements are built for, or can be shimmed, to match the width of that QH. It's a little wider than the published 'standard' that no implement manufacturer seems to conform to.

I did what California did. I change implements very frequent and the quick hitch is big time helpful. I did have to modify some equipment to fit but it was worth my effort.

Note the highlighting on 'Quick Hitch' in Winston's post is programming inserted into our posts by an advertiser. That link may not be at all what the poster intended.

'Quick Hitch' in general looks like what I showed, an inexpensive clone sold at HF, Tractor Supply, etc, copied from the Deere Imatch system.

That link that TBN adds to our posts goes to Pat's, a completely different solution.
