Just priced a loader for a TC29D

Heading into Burlington tomorrow to put pen to paper on our new TC29, 9x3 gear tranny, two stage clutch, priced at $ 12,975. Of course I'm purchasing the following with the tractor. But a brand new Woods 1012 FEL, with 66" HD bucket ,priced at $2,500, seems much more economical.
Also having a new Woods 7500 backhoe, priced $5500, installed at the same time

I paid $3,500 for my 7308 loader with HD bucket, valve, and setup. This was with the new tractor package. I toyed with the idea of buying it at a later date. Glad I did'nt wait.

I was quoted a price of $2,500 for the 72 inch 914mid-mower with rear discharge. I wonder if this will cost more to add if I decide to buy it in the future?

Kodiak - Was that Burlington, VT you were headed to? I bought a TC33D in Middlebury last summer with the Woods 1012 loader (no backhoe yet... hard to justify the cost for as little as I would use it).

The tractor is on our property in Monkton, where we are in the process of building a new house. Have gotten a lot of use out of our Woods 60" rotary mower and 6 ft box blade.

You'll really like your set up.

Sorry I should have been more specific. Actually it was Burlington, Washington, the other side of the country. I've been dealing with Brim Tractor. They are a smaller outfit with some really good people to deal with.
A suggestion for anybody getting ready to purchase. After deciding on what model (TC29) I wanted, I just walked into their shop, and talked to their mechanic, before talking to the salesman. He gave me a great open honest opinion of these tractors, as he's seen them from the inside out. It certainly sold me.

It sounds like my dealer is high compared to most. I mentioned it to him but he wouldn't budge.

I paid $2990 for mine when I bought my tractor; saw another post where someone paid 2240 for one. How far are you from Evansville? Might want to give Stephan's in E'ville a call for a price quote.
