Agree 100%!!

Mob justice is not justice...as others have written, being a suspect does not mean being the perpetrator.
Now, if proven guilty...that swift and furious execution is fine with me...

"Proven guilty" is not without its problems also.

There are mobs, and then there are prosecutors, police and witnesses that are abusing the justice system in their own ways that are not innocent mistakes. Certainly (I hope) it's a very small minority of cases, but there are innocent people in jail, and innocent people have faced the death penalty--all accomplished by a justice system that prides itself on the rule of law.

Real justice, like many things, requires citizen vigilance.

But if it was, then I couldn't agree more with the way this one turned out. Bet you the next guy who wants to rape someone in that town decides to take his "business" elsewhere.
