Keeping Load on Trailer

/ Keeping Load on Trailer #11
Travel trailers are loader their whole life as someone mentioned. I would say its a non issue.

Travel trailers sit for months... but after sitting, they arent driven without load, thats why no vibration problems... ;)
In my experience, you can notice a slight effect after driving an empty trailer that has been sitting loaded for a couple of months...

My trailer has very old tires. It has house trailer axles and tires. They are probably 30 years old. They do flat spot badly from sitting. Even with no load on the trailer. It will bounce quite a lot when first pulled. I have never had the trailer weighed but I bet it goes 2000 lbs easily. Some times it makes me nervous when I first start pulling it. The vibration can be quite severe. I have found that pulling a little faster evens out the vibration and makes for a much smoother ride.
