I have a 2006 TC45A and use on road diesel.
What brand name of lubricants do you recommend?

I see somebody messing around with my fuel tank and there's gonna be a Batman moment {Kazowwie!}.
thatguy said:You can refuse to allow them to dip the tank but they will advise you they fine is $5,000 for the refusal and then ask you again. Then if you say NO, they will ask again and again - each time ringing up $5k... At some point you will end up in handcuffs in back of a Special Agents car as well..

Thanks, I'd have never thought an informed source would recommend gasoline to be added to the fuel for a diesel.
I'd love to know what it says and where it says it.

thatguy said:PatrickG - I stand corrected the dodge owners manual DOES NOT say you can run a gas/diesel mixture in winter...
BUT when I told my dad what I was looking for, he immediately mentioned that the 1981 Isuzu p'up (same as the chevy Luv) manual mentioned you could run up to a 20% gas mix. I thought I read it someplace, it must have been on that diesel truck, but I have no evidence to back it up -

I also read your post with interest. My neighbor has an old Ford gas PU
with dual tanks and, in an attack of brain damage, he filled one tank with
Diesel. That was 9 mo ago and the truck has been parked since. There
are 25-30 gal of Diesel in there, with some gas mixed in. I was wondering
how tolerant a modern Diesel CUT engine would be to gasoline contamination
and at what percentages. Maybe we could even run an aquarium bubbler
into the tank and evaporate off most of the gas. Anyone have any
thoughts? Saving the Diesel fuel is less of the goal than having to dispose of
the contaminated fuel.
