Ditto, have fond memories of snow and winter sports. Then a remember working on my car, on the side of the road laying in 2" of dirty slushy snow, i don't miss that part of snow. :laughing:

Thanks Buppies and cqaigy2!! I'm still deleting old photos and organizing them in this new HD but I will post more. It is very difficult for me to not post the same photos over again.

Here is a few for you guys who like snow. We do to and that's the reason we moved here. All these were taken while at work and might show you what we see, while out there.

I have been to that ski flying jump area in the summer time, never in the winter. Beautiful country there. Ski flying goes longer per wiki. We took the elevator up to a level then climbed up to the top of the lauching point. The top portion is cantilevered into the air and I coud feel it swaying. I had to return the the elevator level where it was not swaying. Wife stayed up to observe the landscape.

It has been a few years ago now, but they were trying to get it opened up to fly, but it needs a lot of work on limited funds. Jon

Here is a few more. Do ask questions if you like. Our average snowfall here is about 230" which is over 6" of moisture..

The first photo is snow mushrooms. That is rocks in a creek that keep there snow. The 2nd to the last one is a frozen river the dog is over.

That is the picture that prompted my prior comments. You can see how the upper portion is just out there swaying in the breeze. Jon
