Snowing here today and NOAA's 5 day forecast for us is 100% chance of more. Below is a few taken today.

Been snowing continuously here since Wednesday or Thursday now. Not sure when it started or how much we have received!! NOAA says it might end over the weekend.

In the 1st photo you can see our yard which is a snow dump. In it the square looking pile is the roof of a bush protector.

2d is our our morning sun..

Last two is our credit union and Walgreens... Hope you like them!

Pretty amazing. I’m 58 years old and have lived in Illinois all my life. I’ve seen one winter, I think 1978-1979, where we had that much snow. I live near Macomb Illinois now and have lived in the same house outside of town for 23 years and the biggest snow in that time was about 22 inches. The pic I attached is today and is about normal for us, we have maybe 6 inches on the ground now.

Wow, lotsa snow!

I remember driving a 66 Bronco in the back country, snow was pretty deep, but with chains, it was like driving a dozer. Except the front end of said bronco isn't good to use as a plow. One of my gauge glances, i noticed the engine temp climbing above normal. Stopped and cleared the packed in snow from the front, it was blocking air from getting to the radiator. I added a periodic, clear snow out of the front end stops to the trip.

Dave, we reside on the south shore of the BIG lake and receive serious snow most years. We average 230 about but this year, we are behind normal.
