:thumbsup:so gentlemen, at a cost of 55.00 per tooth for a cimaf head to only get not even 150 hours out of, compared to a carbide which you will get 600 to 1000 hours from, and you say you can mulch faster with a cimaf head, and 25 percent more economic????? come on , think about it????? carbides are the best bet. not only will you save money at 55.00 per tooth and get 100 to 150 hours use, comapred to 75.00 per tooth and get from 600 to 1000 hours use. slice and dice it any way you want, you are losing money in the long run with non carbides, and dont forget the sharpening a 2 times per day, say 1 hour each sharpening, if you are paying your operator,,,say 15.00 per hour, thats 30.00 bucks spent times 7.. which equals 210.00 per week......do the math

i cant tell you what type of head to buy, my preferance would be fecon, seppi,
however it is up to you what you like, the terrain, and what you are mulching, and what type of machine you have

Teeth are $30 at Gyro Trac. They have a special every few months where you get a new bolt, nut, and nord washers free with each tooth. You also get price breaks starting at 100.

I may have a lead on a even better price. I've got to go through the teeth I just put on then I'll bolt the test ones on. It will be several weeks before I get some good data, but I'll post the results and supplier info here when I do.

Been asked a few times, but never answered.
