Blake when I first saw it I also thought spreader. Then I saw the angle iron feet that keep it off the ground. Plus Junkman did mention how much weight that he adds to the box. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's a weight box. I have one on my BX2200 also.

I attached a picture. Mine is filled with sandbags.

I put mine on a dolly also. That's one of the best things I have decided to do with it when it's not in use. I have about 500 or more pounds of JD metal weights and a huge rock I found as well as small rocks too. Kind of heavy to push around but it's better than being immovable!

I did it again today........ pushed for a new record and the tractor started to go over backward until the weigh box hit the ground. Pucker factor of 10!!!! When I got off the get the camera, it settled back down on the snow... Anyone that would like to challenge this record, is welcome to it. I am not going to try this again... I want to be around for the grass cutting this summer... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Picture 3 shows the weight box touching... I have the weight box locked in the most upright position, so pushing the 3 pt handle to lower it wasn't an option. If I had the backhoe on as my counter balance, I am certain that it would have gone over for certain...

I have done inclines like that also but usually in sand or gravel. I am proud that my machine can do it, but I often wonder where all the engine oil is when I have it on a shrap incline. I remember that I had an implement on the 3ph for a counter weight, spun both back wheels, then I was done cause the implement was digging in and I could not back up. Took a lot of work but I got it out.

Hey Junkman, take that weight box off the back of your tractor. Then you should be able to go higher. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I enjoy your posts, keep up the good work and be careful.
