Price Check Kioti Price Comparison

   / Kioti Price Comparison #11
I have a old 1988 Kioti that is still a good tractor and follow two Kioti forums, it seems to me that Kioti is able to undercut other tractor prices, by poor quality control , poor design and using poor quality castings. Just my thoughts ☺

Must not be too bad if you kept it for 31 years and "it is still a good tractor". :confused3:

I decided on an NX5010C shuttle after looking at Kioti, JD, Kubota, Mahindra, and Massey. The design, features and fit / finish of the NX series are quite good (better in many respects) than the current competition. I will have to see on the QC and longevity after delivery and a few years down the road.

think he was joking. Truth is green and orange charge more because of name, they have also have more overheard in parts and dealer networks.

Like I said in other forums, almost bought a kioti really came down to the dealer just not answering calls or having anything in stock to look at, so went next door and got a Kubota. I was set on Kioti and started teetering towards Kubota was pricing. Kioti had attractive pricing up front on the base, but did notice that Kioti was more pricier when you started adding each one compared to JD or Kubota. Also pricing is a game on tractors difference can be thousands of dollars, or a lot per month difference, depending on what kind of pricing you take, reality is they also sort of come out equal either way. Point being though is by the time I added everything I wanted to the Kioti price gap was getting closer to the Kubota, the lots of money cheaper, turned into a few money cheaper. So keep that in mind, spec wise the tractors were very similar and the Kioti seemed quality to me. I did pay a little more for the Kioti but also got somethings that werent offered on the Kioti, so there was value.

I guess I am too literal, his dry humor flew right over my head :confused2: :mur:

Since I was paying cash, the free Kioti loader and cheaper options (2 remotes and 3rd function) made total cost out the door the lowest.

Glad I chose Kioti.

You seeing allot of issues with Kioti? I have a couple friends that have them and love them.

Just this past week the casting on a backhoe, but a lot of this could be operator error. 1st time tractor operators often don't realize their machine is not indestructible.

I’ll respectfully disagree. Last month I sold my 2005 CK30HST. I pretty much went thru it front to rear. It had been worked hard over the years and not as pretty as once. A constant was my telling my wife how well made. Sold it for about 90% what I paid for it.

Thanks for all the tips. I did not care for the Kubota tredle pedal and brake being on the same side. Along with the loader control position, and the 2 sets of hydraulic remotes sealed the deal for the Kioti. I got the local Kioti dealer to come pretty dammed close to the Salt Lake dealer on the CK3510 so I also got more hp than I originally planned. Can't wait to get it home and get to work!

Good to hear it was a great tractor for you. How many hours on it, and what were some of the problems that you had over the years? (what to watch for on mine)
Thanks, Dutchy

As my first tractor I have had good luck through 60 hours with my 3510SE. As I said before - first regen at 40 hours was a non event, 10 minutes while I was at 2400 rpm anyway and except for the lights (and perhaps it dog bog down a little more in the high grass) I might not have even known. Based on how often I see my rpms drop I think I needed the extra HP more than I realized. Welcome to the club!

819 hours

Problems 2005-2019:
Breached sidewall of front tire, had to replace
Backhoe control valve o-rings had to be replaced twice
Replaced ignition switch twice
Replaced thermostat and fan belt
Emergency stop cable rusted, but cleaned up
Throttle linkage got sticky, but freed up
Parking brake light switch didn’t always release
Bottom of front grill rusted out, likely result of tree branch puncture.
Seat tension adjuster rusted to non usable
Broke off the hydraulic filter housing once and replaced
ATI quick attack handles got sloppy had to disassemble, clean, reassemble.
Bottom of loader bucket deformed from pounding fence posts.
Plastic PTO lever cover broke when I stepped on it, replaced.
Headlight lens got cloudy
Replaced battery twice

As you can see, 14 years of problems, problems, problems.
Probably should note that I bought the tractor in Ga and shipped to Hi just weeks after, so never truly had dealer support. Did own servicing and maintenance.

Wouldn’t have hesitated getting another Kioti but when I was ready no local (Maui & Oahu) inventory but local (BI) dealer had the LS I wanted in stock.

Best of luck with yours.
