I am trying to research the company(s) that manufacturer the Front Mounted Snow Blowers for Kioti. They used to be manufactured by Woods Equipment however they are not carrying Front Mounted Snow Blowers in 2018/19 any longer. Any help would be appreciated.

ps. Is there a Snow Blower manufacturer that is considered superior to the others through user reviews/hands on experience?

A single stage snow thrower has fewer parts the snow blower rotor is the only thing that contacts snow. The snow blower rotor is chain driven. The snow blower rotor will spin up to 700 RPM to clear snow.

DO you want a front mount or a rear mount? Do you know how much money you want to spend???

Do you have a mid mount PTO and expect to use this mid mount PTO for the snow blower?

Using a front mount will limit your line of sight as well.

You have to understand that a front mount is going to reduce your ground clearance. It will cost you much more money and may end up riding on your mules frame to use with a front mounted three point hitch and gearbox system it and it may cost much more than a rear mount single stage with a manual rotation chute control set up and your tractor together

You may end up very well buying a Pronovost front mount three point hitch system to make it work and a Pronovost TRC800 snow blower.

An Erskine drive train for a front mount snow blower conversion with a reversing gear set that connected to an underbelly propeller shaft that is carried by an open bearing and it was used to connect to the front mount snow blower frame and the reversing gearbox to spin the 2 stage snow blower.

You could buy Riest front mount Series 1000 single stage but you will still need to buy the mounting kit from Riest for it AND you could use it as a rear mount as well.

A rear mount 48 inch riest single stage is $4,000.00 Canadian dollars plus shipping from Elmira, Ontario, Canada (unless you want to pick it up) the last time I checked and you could always add the bells and whistles later converting it to use hydraulic chute and spout controls.

You should post this in the snow forum or the Kioti forum.

There are several high quality snowblower manufacturers out there. Most are in canada, and several of them are found within the same area. REIST, Pronovost, Meteor, Lucknow, are all Canadian, but I think lucknow is the cheapest of the bunch. Not all make front mount tractor snowblowers, but 3 pt snow blowers can be converted to be used on the front of a tractor using the PTO.

Just got done doing a ton of research on snow blowers and snow pushers and I decided FOR MY NEEDS to get a snow pusher. I called factories, dealers, regional distributors, looked at specs etc. I have the free time to do it. Just remember if you are ordering now, a lot of dealers won't have any in inventory so you would be looking at a 3-4 week delivery date. I talked to a regional distributor for a big name joint and they said they had some in stock with their two warehouses, but they were going quick after the first big snowfall happened.

Good luck.

Thank you for your reply!

I am interested in a front mount snow blower. Kioti used to contract with Woods Equipment for manufacturing their front mounts which is no longer the case as of 2018. I'm trying to find out who has taken up the contract replacing Woods Equipment.
