I tried to access the Kioti web-site last night and although I connected, the screen froze and McAfee alerted me to Trojan and other attempts to breech my computer.

I tried again this morn and going to the site still freezes up my machine. No alerts this morn, but I'm running Spybot & Virus software. I'm curious if anyone else is having problems. Thanks for your comments.

OK, tried it again. Still problems for me. Specifically, I went to products, tractors and attempted to look at the CK35. Page starts to load and hangs and the browser displays a "Not Responding" message. Tried it in Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox (my usual). Somethings up. :(

There must be something going on then. I just made a post in the Buying/Pricing forum about something similar. I use Avast and it is alerting me to possible virsus and trojans when I use Kioti's site.

I'm thinking the Kioti site might be hacked.

The site is trying to load data from known sites that cause infections such as qq117cc.cn.

Maybe roadrunner is taking it to the kioti.

I don't know who infected Kioti's site, but from what I've found, it's a JS trojan loader. Funny thing is is that it was smart enough to fool Symantec.

Everytime this trojan tried to access some chinese site, Symantec would catch it then delete it. The problem was it fooled Symantec in that Symantec didn't clean the cause.

Well, I'm running a full Symantec scan and it seems to have found the problem. This Trojan must have infected some temp Symantec files. Because on my manual scan it picked up 2 files in the Symantec folder and it was able to clean them. Since those files got cleaned, my browser is no longer trying to access these Chinese sites...

Kioti site has a real problem, it really shook up my computer and virus software. warnings, virus scan etc went right to work. Kioti needs to do something very soon, or at least shut the site down til is corrected.

Looks like it's fixed. Symantec didn't pick up a thing, but I don't really trust it. Although last time, it did pick up the trojan, but couldn't clean it.

Yo Crabjoe....did you try cleaning the trojan using the Symantec in safe mode? That's often successful.

No need to go into Safe Mode. I got it clean with Symantec by just forcing a full manual scan.

I just think Symantec is junk because it hogs to many system resources and it catches stuff that's suppose to be running. In addition, with the Kioti site issue, it picked up the problem, but not the cause. This caused my PC to constantly try to connect to the 2 sites in China. When I forced a full scan, it found the root cause and cleaned it.
