Kipor Generator Problem

Did you ever figure out the problem. I just bought a kipor kge2000ti with the same issue. the green out put light is on but no ac power. it's putting out dc like yours too.

I got this thing cheap so I knew I was taking a chance, but it looks brand new.

Mine started working again all on its own, and hasn't bothered since. I spoke to the previous owner, he said it did it twice. He took it to the shop where he bought it the first time and they said it was putting out fine. The second time, he got mad at it, picked it up and jarred it against the ground and it worked fine. I think there is some sort of sensor or electronic relay that is sticking. I'll post again if it bothers.
