I think the orange is a Category 0 while the gold is a Category 1. Make sure you check before you buy the wrong one for your machine.

Your partially correct. If what he's seen is one of the new XB series from KK, it's cat 1 pins and hole sizes but with cat 0 spacing between the pins. Their designed for the smaller BX and similar sized tractors. KK doesn't show this series of implements on their web site, but my local TSC has brochures for them inside. I bought one of the XB series landscape rakes to use on my 318 JD GT. Have been removing several trees using backhoe and front bucket on the 4400 and it makes it handy to have the rake available to rake up the small branches and leaf debris without having to remove the backhoe.

I use a KK 6 ft light blade for snow. Its just fine for that. I also use it for dirt, and as long as you dont hit a big root or BFR it will scrape some dirt.
BTW, if you do hit a big root or BFR, or as in my case a old logging cable, its around 45 bucks to get it rewelded /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I brought this older thread back up to show you there are 3 grades of King Kutter blades.
I have the light duty (around $200 blade). It was to light duty for my needs.
I recently got what I call the mid grade back blade. It is lighter duty than the HD blade, but far heavier duty than the light duty grade.
Cost was around $412 plus tax.
