I saw an add for 2013 new Kubota L3560 HST with 9 hours at a Kubota dealership. Checked on Tractorhouse and noticed there are quite a few "new" 2013s, 2014s as well as 2015 L3560s still on dealer lots.
Called dealer whose original ad I had seen and he says they are great tractors but the price increase from 2012 model w/o Tier 4 has made them move a bit slower. Says he had two now down to one and want to clear it out.
I have been planning on buying a new B2650/3350 or maybe an L3301/3901...or maybe the smaller size L frame...this spring as the woods drys out
I have always loved the "Grand" L but had quit looking at them as 1) may be a bit large for my first tractor and 2) price increase moved them to a large premium over other choices. Size has a number of considerations in terms of my uses...some advantage and some disadvantage (as is always true)...it also would require evaluation of my trailer (probably need to move to a dual axle) and maybe my tow vehicle...2004 Toyota Land Cruiser. Land Cruiser is now at 12 years and I have been beginning the "looking" process...maybe a Chev Canyon diesel would be good answer.
I any case...Price just under $25K w/ "standard loader and 7' bucket...not a cab unit. I sense a bit of negotiating room. I would guess the 9 hours have been people like me coming to the dealers lot and trying the tractor out...for 2-3 years. I trust the dealership in general but not sure if there should be other concerns for this type of use and outside storage for 2-3 years???
The dealer said regeneration not been much of a problem unless tractor operated at lower than recommended RPM...as that causes more carbon build-up??
Your thoughts and/or experience with L3560 HST Rops???
Thanks...Tom R
