Will do. I wont be home till March 12 and got a million things to do, so it may be when I get back to work before I have a chance to catch up on my TBN work. The previous owner didnt mention it being hard to shift and neither did the wife when she drove it home. It does have the pressure neutralizer knob on the dash just in case. I noticed in the photos that there is a stainless plate in the back for protections plus a clear glass(plexiglass maybe) also. That is a good deal also. It looks like he replaced the Kubota protective screen which is laying in the bed. The bed is solid spray in bedliner bottom and sides. Coating the passenger compartment floorboards with anti-skid bedliner material sounds like a good idea also.
Can you buy that in a liquid that can be rolled on or brushed on. I know you can get regular anti-skid paint for steps and such but it wears fairly fast.

Regarding the wife and her driving of the RTV: She will drive Brother-in-laws JD Gator when she has too, but it is kinda like the golf cart with just a forward , neutral and reverse shifter so not complicated to use. She didnt really elaborate on what was the problem with the RTV other than "BIG and drives like a tractor" I think it is mostly just confusing to her with all the levers and gear shifts etc. She is stubborn that way. It took her a while to get comfortable with the golf cart and it just has forward and reverse buttons. She refuses to read an operation manual for anything. Once she had a Chevy Malibu, plain jane version but it had a mechanically adjustable seat on the drivers side. After she had it about a year, I decided one day to clean it for her. I had never even driven it before that. Anyway while vacuuming the floor, I find the one lever that moved it back and forth and move it back so I can get in to vacuum. Then I find another lever, which she knew nothing about, that tilted the bottom portion of the seat which she didnt know about. Guess it was lucky for her that it was set somewhere near what she wanted. I never did ask her if she changed it after I showed it to her.

ANother question for you guys, I see that my RTV 900 does not have a speedometer installed although the dash looks to have the knockout plate for it. How hard is it to install a speedometer in these and where does it get the signal from.(Where to hook the cable)

I think the speedometer signals come from the seat pressure plate.... when there is zero seat pressure it is advisable to reduce the speed before getting bounced out:D:D:D

Actually, I dunno...but am told max speed is 25 which is way too fast to dash around on my place.

Gary,
Speedo is electric, installs in dash very easy. Sender on right side of trany and plugs into existing wiring.
I had one in my 9 but really never used it.
My 11 goes 27mph tops and I never look at it either.
They are like tractors, so a speedo is just not a big deal.

DixieDog,
I had tried that neutral adjustment. Lift rear end, remove HST rod from arm, H range, full throttle, 2wd, and adjust neutral hex bolt/with 17mm lock nut. But was unsure of the results, so just to make sure, had the dealer verify. We had adjusted it 1/4 turn CC from original. When it went to the dealer, his report was it was 'way off'. Didn't verify what that meant but it works now, so his fix was good and worth the effort.
But like I said previous, the other adjustments were equally important.
The RTV has a quirky little transmission setup and requires adjustment when it is not working. Once setup, big difference. Well worth the time and effort.
If you need my explanation on how to adjust the HST arm, let me know.
Since making these adjustments, most times I DO need to use the brake pedal to release pressure, lots of time I don't, and I have not had to use the dash pressure release knob once.

I used the Herculiner for the floorboard. A quart is all you need. I put two coats on the floorboard and the pedals and still had some left over.
