Candidly, I prefer some domestic involvement in what I purchase and Mahindra has none. If I want an Indian machine, I'll buy a camel.

Stuff like this always makes me laugh and head shake. The ill informed

I'll gladly send my money to Japan. The other places in the east, no thanks.

Pakistan, India, Iraq, Iran, whatever....not getting my money.

And before I'm corrected for that....ya I know they are getting my fuel money and handouts from my tax dollars.

But that's out of my control.

Agreed. I will spend more to keep my money here. I refuse to support Chinamart (Walmart) because of all the crap they peddle...

If it regens or has a blue (DEF) fuel cap, I don't want it. If it regens and works right, at some point the DPF will fill and the cannister has to be changed out (at who knows what cost) anyway. I have 2 pre tier 4 large frame big power Kubota's and I'll keep them. If I loose an engine, I'll put in a new engine. You can keep the Tier 4 crap. We run over 100 Class 8 diesel trucks, half are Tier 4 final and that half are constant problems. It's too much rechnology, too fast with unreliable electronics from the lowest bidder. Far as I'm concerned, the only good use for DEF is fertilizing hay fields, I spray it on regularly....
i couldnt have said this any better! I dont want anything to do with this crap.... I would rather have a gas tractor than dpf garbage.a friend of mine has a new powerstroke diesel with emmision trouble already. Wtf

To the 2 of you that posted problems with your b3350's, how much idle time did you do on your tractors, like as in warm up procedures and such?

I ask because I am jumping into the tier 4 world soon and am learning about this. I have heard todays tractors with tolerances and engineering that any idleing is bad to them and they actually are designed for little warm up time and to be shut off and not idled. Just checking.

I to think all this tier 4 stuff is bs.!! And was pushed to fast by our lovely government and epa.

I begin next week as shop foreman in the Kubota/Bobcat/Tigercat dealership I work at. In the 2 1/2 months I've been there I haven't seen much problem, but I only really get to see what I'm working on. Soon I'll see everything that comes through the shop so I'll have a better idea of what problems we're having.
