Kubota block heater help

I want to do the install on my tractor.
I have a L355SS ( shuttle shift ) and the shuttle shift oil pump is in front of the freeze plug that is used to install the normal threaded block heater.
Can anyone tell me if there is another location that I am able to install the block heater into.

Went to Messicks site and looked at the parts diagrams and they do not list one.

Kubota has many block heaters available, usually your dealer has a little cheat sheet listing the part number recommended for what tractor and application and which freeze plug to use. For example on a BX with a 902 engine, they use a side freeze plug but an RTV with a 902 will sometimes use the freeze plug in the head. The side threaded plug is sometimes used as an alternate location for a radiator hose and is an easy one unless their is an appliance hanging in the way. You may have to just get a good caliper and measure the size, usually in mm and find one at the dealer with the pound in sleave, and find one by size.

If that does not work there is always a hose type if room allows.

Block heater for the L355SS is discontinued.
That is right from the Kubota dealers mouth.
They don't even list a part number for what heater was used.

Considering that tractor hasn't been in production for nearly 25 years it really isn't a surprise.
