Said before and will again, a backhoe on a CUT is always a bad investment and something that an owner might use infrequently. For the cost of one, much more expeditious to rent a mini-ex from a local equipment dealer. Renting one eliminates most of any liability on your part and backhoes on a CUT, frame mount or not, puts a heck of a strain on the unit.

One thing about most Kubota diesel engines is they last a very long time without any major repairs, so long as they are maintained properly as in timely oil and filter changes. My Kubota's both have well over 5000 hours on them and I've never had any issues with either other than setting the valve lash.

Lot of jack for a plastic hood and a disposa motor that might make it to 2000 hours, maybe. 8 grand is insane for that. Says 'Plus additional charges'... as well.

looks to be a good buy. if i were considering, would hire an impartial tractor mechanic to overlook 1st. nothing to lose, & confidence to gain

Working pto as well. All servicing records in place. Trying to make sure it will push snow with turf tires in 4wd

Most tractors do better at pushing snow when they have chains on the tires.

It's a BX2350
at 1,700 hours, it's a teenager
Turf tires work better in snow than you would think
Tractor and mower are worth $6,000 - $6,500
Tractor/mower/loader are worth $8,000 - $9,500
YMMV

BX2230, but yes, around here, that would be a decent deal for that setup.
I'd rather have a 2230 then a 2350 anyways due to the plastic hoods and fenders on the 50 series.

From the pictures, it looks pretty clear for the hours.

Curious what happened to the ROPS because the BX otherwise looks to have been kept in good cosmetic condition.
