Kubota BX2380 Backhoe Subframe from a BX22- Can it be swapped

Hello Group.

I LOVE MY Kubota.

But the dealer says NO to anything out of the Normal.

I just bought a used. 2018 BX2380- Used.

I have a 2004 BX22 with the BT601 backhoe and Subframe.


CAN I move the bt601 Subframe from the BX22 over to the BX2380????
The dealer would not even consider the possibility.. Just said NO.

Have anyone seen the difference in the subframes from the Bx 22 to BX2380??

I can image they are too different??

The backhoe attachment is very HANDY!! but it seldom gets used and I did not want to buy a new one?

It has been done. you have to buy some parts of a bx tlb model and have to fab the bottom adapter. Some back hoes had three hoses and early ones had two hoses. might have to adapt the top mount also. if i had to do it I would sell them and get a small B. I have a bx23 tlb and had a b2650.

The question is framed incorrectly because there is no factory fitted backhoe for a BX2380.
Most accurate way to find out is get your toolbox out and start swapping the subframe from the 22 to the 2380.

The TLB frame is different then the BX frame with added reinforcements for the backhoe that cannot be purchased separately. And then on top of that you are going between 2 totaly different BX series the 00/30 and the 80 over 15 years of changes

Also, the hydraulic pump will probably be different as the backhoe tractor will have a larger GPM. Not sure though. Would have to research it. Just a thought.
