Kubota GL4330
Greetings. After driving the L3830 and L4330 at the dealer lot we had them deliver the L4330 with an 853 Q/A FEL, Q/A pallet forks (48") and a 6' box scraper for trial on our property. Side by side to the B7800 is quite a lot more machine, double the weight! It was not long after moving logs, palleted lumber, grading forest lanes and digging piled dirt that we deicded on the L4330 with the great reach of the 853 and the versatility of Q/A. The 4 cylinder engine is quiet, which is important with nearby neigbors, since we often work 'til dark. The power top and tilt with triple remote valves are ordered and a BH90 backhoe has been located at another dealership. Since I will go stumping with the BH, we decided the subframe mount would be much stronger than the BH4690 on lift arms. We chose the 16" bucket for the BH. We live in clay that gets quite hard in the dry season. We opted for a Kodiak 6' rough mower. Since we use the tractor in so many different ways it seems appropriate to have the largest, longest reach FEL with Q/A and the larger BH. Our previous B1750 and B7800 served us well through much work over the years of building and landscaping. The L4330 is going to make our future projects even easier. We thank you all for the input and comments both directly and indirectly. This is truely a very informative forum!

I'm already thinking about a Q/A blank for fabricating a 3pt mount for using the landscape rake off the loader in close quarters of our woods. Since we are in hill/bluff country I would like to find a good incline meter to relieve the "pucker" factor....any recommendations? Also would like to fabricate a brush fork for either the bucket or maybe the 48" pallet fork unit. Also have to weld some chain hooks to the bucket....maybe a thumb to the BH....ah, the fun of fitting out new equipment!! (Best part, my best friend, partner, and co-worker (wife) is at least as happy as I am!)

CONGRATS!!!! :) :) :)

It's amazing how excited we can all get when we read of someone else that is experiencing the thrill of a new tractor!!
I remember your earlier posts about your tractor purchase decision making process. I'm sure the 3830 is a great tractor and I haven't driven one to compare. I do know that the 4 cyl Grand L engines really purr! My BX22 engine isn't "rough", but compared to the L5030 engine it almost seems to be. I am still amazed at the smoothness of the 5030.
You and I have something else in common that is super! Our wives are not only best friends, but excited for us to get a new tractor!! My wife even encouraged me to get the cab - now that's special :)
Congratultions again - we look forward to future posts from you WITH PICTURES :)

Congradulations on the new tractor! I got a new L4330 2 years ago and they really are nice machines.
Good luck!

Congratulations, you wil love it. Even when it is 104 degrees (like now) I look forward to getting home and getting on one of the Bota's. Of course that depends on which one my wife is using!
