Kubota L295DT Rebuild Kit

I've got an early 80's Kubota L295DT tractor with Low Compression, I've had two different dealers tell me you could not get a rebuild kit, each part would have to be bought seperately...just wondered if anyone had experience with these tractors and getting parts? or should I just junk the old unit

You would have to buy the parts seperately sounds like you mainly need rings and rod bearings. As far as ordering the parts most dealers would be able to put a list of parts togather you would need gaskets etc.....

They sell rebuild kits. They will also do the rebuild for you.

Buttaluv - You need to determine if it is rings or valves. Google "leak down test" to learn how to do this. No sense replacing what isn't worn.
