Kubota L3130 HST (4WD) vs John Deere 3320

I have spent some time on Kubota's mainly a 2910 and just ordered a JD 3320. I just liked the ergos of the JD better.

I originally started out looking hard at a Kubota, then got to lookiin' at a Deere, went Deere in 1994 (STX-38 -> GT-225 -> 4100 -> 4310 -> 3320 Cab next)

STX-38 (1994 - 1999)
GT-225 (1999 - 2001)
4100 (2001 - 2006)
4310 (2006 - 2008)
3320 (soon in 2008 - )

My requirements changed quite a bit

2 moves 5 pieces of gear!

Man do I want an OnRamp deck for the 3320!

I have a 2006 Kubota L3130 HST 4x4. I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. It'll suit your needs fine. Each tractor has it's faults and features to compliment.

What I like most is that the company who builds this tractor and slaps their stickers on it also puts their engine in it, not one imported from another country. A Kubota is a Kubota.

Forks, Heavy duty 61 bucket, and Woods box scraper.

I have a bush hog and BB already.

Tractor and forks are at the dealership awaiting the box scraper.

Oh, I'm sorry. I thought it was a John Deere (American) with a Yanmar (Japanese) engine, in comparison to a Kubota (Japanese) with a Kubota (Japanese/same company) engine.

Not true. The engine is a Japanese Yanmar, so that much at east is not made in Georgia, probably more parts outsourced as well.

had the same choice to make, but it was between the 3400 and the 3320. I was already pushing the size limit..and the grand L was too big for what I needed it for. (3400/3320 much closer in size) I was a kubota guy till I tried the 3320. What a machine, got the 448 hoe delivered today..what fun. I say try them both.
