Kubota L3130 HST (4WD) vs John Deere 3320

had the same choice to make, but it was between the 3400 and the 3320. I was already pushing the size limit..and the grand L was too big for what I needed it for. (3400/3320 much closer in size) I was a kubota guy till I tried the 3320. What a machine, got the 448 hoe delivered today..what fun. I say try them both.

What was the price difference?

about 1000 dollars or so, but I got forks in the JD deal, and was misquoted on an item in the kubota deal (3400 hst). the prices were quite close. I felt the 3320 hst was a bit more powerful when lifting pallets in the yard at the dealer but it could have just been in my head as I knew the specs. I did like the ergonomics better in the JD, esp the loader controls (arm resting at all times etc.) Honestly it all came down to the dealer, I did not get a good feeling from my kubota dealer (10 min away) vs JD that was 45 min away.

I agree with that, I will be doing quite a bit of loader work and with the Kubota your arm is out vs the Deere has the stick closer to you.

Yep I am going for a 3320 CAB or a 3520 Cab, comfort, ease of use and familiarity.
