Unfortunately I lack the required violent ability to make 3/8" fittings fit onto 1/2". Even if I did, I think that would probably lead to leaks.

Hoses for the work ports are all installed thanks to a half dozen 1/2" to 3/8" JIC adapters. 1 of the hoses could have been an inch longer, but ended up working acceptably.
Drained the tank & pulled the relevant hoses off the tractor. Sure enough I'm ordering 3 new hoses, this time with the correct 1/2" fittings instead of the 3/8" I thought they were. :banghead:
Put on the 2 new hydro filters as I'm at 43.5 hours & I was draining the tank to check the fittings & shortly put the new hoses on (once the right sized ones get here). A little bit of iron fuzz on the magnet, but nothing out of line for a new machine close to it's first 50 hour service. Interesting note: when you start draining the hydraulic fluid the vacuum makes a squeeling noise through the breather or something that sounds like a warning buzzer on a car. Took me a minute to figure out why it sounded like a low oil alarm went off as soon as I started draining things, despite the tractor being off. Opening the fill cap quieted things up.
Will try and get some photos soon.

Looks like my TnT cylinders are finally ready & will be shipping on Monday along with new in/out/tank hoses that have the right fittings. Of course it looks like mother nature doesn't like that idea. It's been nice & in the high 50's or so the past few days. By the time the stuff is suppose to show up on Wednesday the high is going to be in the low 20's lows in the negative numbers, and even worse by the weekend. Not sure if my new torpedo heater will be enough to get me out to the shop to get it installed.

It's alive! One minor leak on the pressure in port where I forgot to tighten the hose. Surprisingly it fired right up given the temperature & all the hydraulics seem to work properly.
Took forever to fill the tank. Low temps & a funnel with a fine screen is painful.
Most of the fender & other stuff is back on, but not quite everything yet.

:cool2: Take a few minutes in the :cold: tomorrow to get the top & tilt installed and finish buttoning things up, and you will be ready for plowing some snow on Saturday.
