I have no issues with my power steering when operating loader at max capacity.

That is great that you haven't experienced that. On those model tractors there is no way for the tractor to regulate the flow of fluid for steering vs the 3pt. (Maybe I worded that correctly to make sense) I have noticed it while using a friends tractor at the hunting club.

I have a 3901 and there is a noticeable increase in force needed to turn the steering wheel when the bucket is full. Its not terrible, but it is there. My M7040 steers like butter whether loaded or not.

Interesting. Does engine rpm affect steering effort?
